T & T Precision specialise in the manufacture of precision machined components to customers’ specifications and unique needs.
T & T Precision’s Full In-House Design and Manufacturing Capabilities
At T & T Precision we have invested in ONA CNC sinker EDM machines with X, Y, Z, and C travel as part of our full in-house design and manufacturing services. All these machines have multi electrode changers. All our electrodes are copper; operating on an EROWA Base Chucking System carrying electrodes from wire EDM machines. These machines enable quick stock removal; achieving 0.3 RA while maintaining sharp corners.
Fast and Precise Resetting
We have invested in a state-of-the-art EROWA handling facility. The EROWA Wire EDM tooling system is constituted by the chucks that are fitted to the machine table, and aligned. When a workpiece has been fixed to and set up on a system carrier – fixture, clamping, elements etc. – it is ready for production. This wire EDM tooling scheme can be automated.
High-Speed, Controllable, and LEAN
When operating Electronic Discharge Machining (EDM) processes we additionally use FANUC wire EDM. Full 5 axis machining 500mm x 400mm X Y Z with 30-degree 3D taper cutting, fully programmable CAM package, user friendly artificial intelligence, and controllable wire breakage. These machines enable cutting of conductive materials from aluminium copper to graphite, using an electrical spark.
FANUC’s high speed EDM machines are compact, high performing, wire cutting machines. They assure higher rigidity, speed and cutting efficiency. FANUC’s EDM machines come with fully programmable CAM packages.
T & T Precision’s EDM facility is complemented with Charmilles CNC EDM hole drill burners. These machines can burn through 35mm thick hardened tool-steel in 30 seconds. Our EDM processes are lean. Through utilising Ona CNC Sink EDM machines, and FANUC high speed wire EDM machines, T & T Precision’s designers, engineers and customers benefit from a faster and more efficient electronic discharge machining process.
